Trying my best to sound cliche, I have reached the end of an era. No longer enrolled in college, no more NCAA eligibility to use, I've lost my best allies in fending off "growing up". Now that I have less free time to devote to anything and everything that can be deemed "unproductive and useless", like blogging, I'm doing just that.
Let's go ahead and be straight forward, everything I have to say is not official and everyone should use caution before taking me seriously. With that in mind, welcome to my blog!
My life now is being dictated by my desire to continue racing on the track until I am finally satisfied with myself. The plan is to race indoors and a little outdoors, but not a full season. I'm looking to make the jump to olympic distance triathlons so am biking and swimming on the side. The hope is to earn my elite status as a triathlete by the end of 2010 so that I'll be ready to chase my Olympic dreams as we approach London 2012. It's been interesting living day by day so far with so much of my near future up in the air. Should make for an entertaining spring and summer.
