I thought I left New England and all of its snow 6 years ago when I came to Washington, DC. Apparently it has finally found me. We officially have set a new all-time record for seasonal snowfall. The scary thing? Winter isn't over yet.
I was lucky enough to have left town for the holidays (is "holidays" politically correct) by the time the Dec storm hit. Ironically enough, I was in New England when the record snowstorm struck a few days ago. No snow fell while I was at Yale, and amazingly enough I was able to get back into DC late, late Sat night on the train. Amtrak is doing something right! Now I'm hunkered down in my apartment while the 3rd blizzard rages. I did venture over to campus to workout and even enjoyed my treadmill run (first time ever). Some unofficial storm totals for near me, 22", 25.5", and 12". Yikes! I think Bonsey and I were the only ones in McDonough working today. Guess it helps when you can walk to work.
Any Scrubs fans? Watch Superbad and you'll spot Cole early in the movie. He gets pissed at Evan for just standing around during the P.E. soccer game.
