HOKIES!!!!!!

The boys sure got a big win tonight! Beating Wake should certainly help their tourney chances. As I watched the game I realized I don't mind how aggressive and hot headed the Hokies sometimes play. I believe it was Thompson who threw an unnecessary elbow as he was talking to the ref. It's this kind of passion though that allows them to claw back from deficits and be able to win so many close games. The team may not be as disciplined as most but the raw athletic talent they have allows them to get that W.

Towards the end of the game the refs made a terribly wrong call when they called a foul on one of the Hokies when there was absolutely no contact. The refs then went and spent a minute looking at the replay, presumably to make sure the Wake player wasn't taking a 3. When they watch the video and see they completely botched the call, what is going through their minds. If I were them I would want to correct my mistake and give the Hokies the ball since time had been stopped anyway. It's gotta be embarrassing. Since the refs gave Delaney a 3 pointer when his toe was on the line, I figured everything was just evening out.

If you've never had a sandwich from Jetties you really need to give it a try. The nobadeer is absolutely incredible. After being in the office until 7 I lost my desire to prepare food for myself, so made the 2 min trek to Jetties across the ice and snow to order me some delicious food. Love it! Be warned, it is a little pricey, but worth the money every once in awhile.
